The Himalaya Archive Japan is a Japanese nonprofit organization officially certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. HAJ implements its activities with the concept “Thinking of the Earth, Thinking from the Himalayas”.

HAJ has implemented the following activities in collaboration with our members, auteur, video journalists and specialists all over the world who possess high knowledge and skills while The Himalaya Film Festival remains our core activity.

- Education programs with video picture related to environment, culture and human rights issues

- International cooperation activities mainly to support Asian auteur

- Video Picture Research projects into global climate change and relevance of profound spiritual cultures of the Himalayas including Gandhi’s “Non-violence”
