The Himalaya Archive Japan (HAJ) was established in 2006 as a voluntary group. HAJ has organized the Himalaya Film Festival (HFF) in Tokyo twice together with the Himalaya Archief Nederland. HAJ was founded as a Specified Nonprofit Organization in December, 2008.
