- Himalaya Film Festival TOKYO 2010 completed with favorable reviews.

The Himalaya Film Festival TOKYO 2010, the 4th in the series in Japan, was finished with more than 1000 audiences. In addition to screening documentary films, the related international symposium was held with Japanese experts as well as foreign panelists from India, Bhutan and Nepal. - Emargency appeal for aid to the large eathquake in Tibet from Japan

As you already know from the news, a large earthquake has hit much of Yushu, the regional centre of a remote part of Qinghai province in Tibet. - HAJ co-hosts the lecture by a former entourage of the Dalai Lama

Mr. Jurme Wangda, the former entourage of the Dalai Lama came to Japan on Mar. 10 and will hold several lectures both in Tokyo and Yokohama.  He is also a friend of the HAJ’s chief director. Mr. Wangda will talk about the Dalai Lama, culture and medicine of Tibet, Tibetan issues and so on, which are hardly reported in the mass media.
